Metal Slug 5=8 The one I haven't have played the least, it's still enjoyable. Also, Trevor and Nadia are my favorite Characters in the Franchise. It's the first game in the franchise to be done by a different studio from SNK, but I won't give it much flak as SNK did manage to make Metal Slug again after this one and I still found enjoyment out of it. It isn't as creative as the other 3, but it isn't trying to be. Metal Slug 4=8 I think of this game as a "Metal Slug's greatest hits". I love it, even if not as much as number 2. Metal Slug 3=9 A fan favorite, and what people call the best in the franchise. Metal Slug 2/XX=10 The BEST of the entire series, or in other words, my favorite of the whole series! XX was pretty good too, but I have a soft spot for 2 as it was the most readily available to me at a pizza restaurant and my summer camp. Not as experimental as the others, but it's very well made. what i call SHOTGUN ROUNDS! out of 10: Metal Slug 1 = 9 A wonderful start to a great franchise. So instead, I'm rating these games here on there own merit. I mean I love the games so much, but this collection is an outdated mess of loading times.

And I read review for PSP version of MSA, that in PSP version you can choose between Original resolution, 4:3 and 16:9. Surely the pictures are from PSP version. On page 8, there is something with Game Lobby and Connect. Because, in this PS2 manual do not fits pictures. I think this PS2 manual of Metal Slug Anthology is only slighty updated PSP manual. And in manual is, that if I give PAUSE MENU, there I can save my current game. For example, on page 8, there isi some Token system and Wallpapers in Gallery but in game there arent. and there are more differences between manual and game. Special bonus items await to the true METAL SLUG champion." In game i cant set to the limited, because there is only FREE PLAY, 5, 10, 20. Okay.so you think you have got the "right stuff"? Choose "Limited" and see if you can beat the game with a set number of lives. And in maual is that: "Continues - Choose between Unlimited or Limited continuse. But in game option, there I can choose between EASY MEDIUM and HARD, but it no changes number of credits.
But in game option there is no display option! And in manual is that if I choose EASY, it give me 30 credits, if I choose NORMAL, it give me 20 credits and if I give HARD, it give me 10 credits.

I found difference between manual and game. Metal Slug 3 was the last game in the Metal Slug series that was developed by SNK. Everything other seems to be fine, but is not. All other 6 games (Metal Slug 1 X 3 4 5 6) have smooth framerate. The gameplay is arcade perfect and sound and graphic too! Loading times are short and small slowdown of framerate is only in Metal Slug 2 (like MVS cabinet version). The This game collection is awesome! Excellent collection for excellent price! I bought it last tuesday on ebay and receive yesterday. If your item does not arrive within this timescale, please be patient.
